Y-Empower is a 12 month, 1 to 1 support service for young people aged 8-17. Young people can be referred from any organisation/individual across North Lanarkshire. Young people are matched with an appropriate youth worker who will meet them weekly to work towards their personalised goals.
PlusOne is a programme which supports young people who have been involved in offending behaviour and want
to develop skills and tools to make
positive choices. PlusOne aims to help young people aged between 8 and 14 make positive decisions and motivate them to reach their potential. The programme pairs adult volunteers with young people to help them develop their interests and elevate their skills. The mentor is there to help support the young person and to motivate them to make positive life choices.
EEI is a 4-6 week structured national programme supporting
young people aged 8-17 who have been involved in offending behaviour. The EEI framework supports young people to understand the behaviours which have led to the referral onto the programme.
On each of these programmes, young people will be matched with a trained youth worker whom they will meet weekly to take part in activities, learn new skills, develop their resilience, and build confidence in making positive choices.
These programmes cover the entire North Lanarkshire area.
