Volunteer with YMCA Bellshill & Mossend
At YMCA Bellshill & Mossend, volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Every week, we support children, young people, families, and our community through services such as childcare, youth work, our food bank, women’s groups, and more.
We are always looking for people who would like to give some of their time, skills, or experience to help us make a difference.
Volunteering opportunities include:
-
Food Bank – helping prepare, organise, and distribute food to local families.
-
Youth Work – supporting our drop-ins, projects, and activities for young people.
-
Childcare – assisting our staff with play and learning for children in our care.
-
Community Projects – from wellbeing groups to events, there are many ways to get involved.
Whether you can give a couple of hours a week or a few days a month, your support will help us continue to create a welcoming and supportive space for our community.
You don’t need previous experience – just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved. Training and support are provided, and volunteering can be a great way to learn new skills, meet new people, and give something back.
